From Tokyo Dome City, I made another pilgrimage of Moon is Beautiful (月がきれい) at Kawagoe in Saitama Prefecture. Kawagoe is known by the tourist as the "Little Edo" near Tokyo and also, the main setting of the series.
All of the locations were pinpointed thanks to @touyoko_com's blog.
Made a pilgrimage from IDOLiSH7's spin-off anime, IDOLiSH7: Vibrato. All of the scenes came from episode 3-4, The Entangled Man (巻き込まれた男), where Nagi, Nikaido and Tamaki was visiting Tokyo Skytree before attending TRIGGER's concert.
pilgrimage taken last July 11, 2019.
While doing some exploration of the locations of Given using Google Street Maps, I decided to set off and visit personally the actual places featured in the anime. Most of the location were found along the Odakyu Line from Shinjuku Station.
Some of the photos weren't exactly recreated as the anime scene due to the limitation of my focal length (I used 40mm pancake lens).
I rode Minatomirai Line for my previous pilgrimage article for Bungou Stray Dogs where most of the major locations were located. In this trip, I rode JR Negishi Line to get to some of the minor locations of the series.
It's rainy season in Tokyo and it inspired me to do a pilgrimage for Garden of Words (Kotonoha no Niwa) at Shinjuku Gyoen National Park. Since the movie was aired way back 2013, even though were changes on the landscapes and infrastructures inside the park but it still gives off a similar atmosphere during the time I watched this movie way back.
My pilgrimage trip around Shibuya and Shinjuku area for my all-time favorite idol anime, IDOLiSH7.
Finally made my own pilgrimage of Makoto Shinkai's Tenki no Ko (Weathering with You) before its released this coming July 19. The locations were pinpointed thanks to @touyouko_com.
The first time I did a pilgrimage for Bungou Stray Dogs, it was only a casual pilgrimage with a friend with only a faint memory from the first season. My friend had already followed to the latest updates of the series therefore I can't keep up the excitement similar as hers when walking around the Yokohama. But due to that walk, I gave myself a chance to watch the anime and viola, it became my most favorite series of all time.
I have revisited to Yokohama several times only for exploration but my revisit this time, I covered all the important and known locations from Season 1 to the latest (including the movie and ova). Since this is quite an in-depth pilgrimage, the article will get updated for three parts: locations along Minatomirai Line where most of the important locations were, and the locations along JR Negishi Line and outside Yokohama which will be posted anytime soon.
This is the second part of my pilgrimage for Midnight Occult Civil Servants/Mayonaka Occult Koumuin. In the previous article, I covered the sightseeing spots of Shinjuku featured from their twitter account but in this, it is more on the main places featured from the anime.
My extensive pilgrimage on Midnight Occult Civil Servants/Mayonaka Occult Koumuin around Shinjuku Ward. From this walk, I covered Shinjuku's sightseeing spots promoted in their twitter and scenes coming from the anime.
